Join artist in residence Jenna Knapp and poet KP Kaszubowski for their third interactive poetry workshop at the garden. As Earth Day appraoches, we will continue to honor and celebrate the life of the Norway maple that long provided shade and shelter at the top of the hill overlooking the labyrinth. April invites us to celebrate the earth and take notice of all the slow and beautiful moments in nature that are always waiting for us, despite our fast-paced lives. In this third iteration we will continue to explore themes of grief, change and loss - this time through the lens of our relationship to the places that make us and how their ever-changing landscape changes us.

Join artist in residence Jenna Knapp and poet KP Kaszubowski for their second interactive poetry workshop at the garden following this fall's first iteration of Actively Missing You. Together, we will continue to honor and celebrate the life of the Norway maple that long provided shade and shelter at the top of the hill overlooking the labyrinth. February invites us to hibernate in our safe spaces, nestle into home and sink into being with ourselves as we allow quiet and slow change to take place through the darkest season, curious as to who we will be when we emerge from the winter. During the workshop, we will discuss the labyrinth's history, silently walk its winding path, and be led through poetry prompts to generate written material. You'll have the option to contribute your writing to be engraved into the logs at a later date, allowing the Norway maple's history to live on.

DEAR SELF WITH LOVE: 2025 LETTERS
Dear Self With Love Studio originally began as a letter writing workshop where guests were invited to write a letter to their future self, with the promise of the letter being held and then sent back to them in the new year. Join in on continuing the tradition and start your new year in a unique way!
Take some time to future cast and connect with 2025 you. When you envision what you'd like your year to look like as a whole and place yourself at the beginning of 2025, you give yourself permission to look at it from a different perspective. This vision gives us something tangible to work backwards from when creating goals for 2024 and also generates gentle momentum to guide us going forward.
Take some time to write future you a letter then sign, seal, decorate the envelope and send it into the DSWL P.O. Box for safe keeping! Set your intentions, tell yourself a story, give yourself a pep-talk.
All are welcome! Bring yourself or invite a friend and take this time to reflect and celebrate your self-love journey. Come with writing materials, a cozy beverage and some snacks if you wish. Comfy clothes and a soothing environment are encouraged :)
